GUSTS OF NE WIND 35-50, STRENGTHENING IN THE NORTH, IN THE AFTERNOON IN
THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AS WELL, TO 40-70, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP
TO 90 KNOTS. SEA INCREASING IN THE NORTH, TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY IN
THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AS WELL, TO 4-5, IN THE OPEN POSSIBLY TO 5-6.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure is extending from the northeast toward the
Adriatic, while a low over the Ionian Sea is deepening.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE wind 12-28, strengthening in the North, in the afternoon in the rest
of the Adriatic as well, to 18-38, in the Velebit Channel up to 50
knots. Sea 3-4, increasing in the North, till the end of the day in the
rest of the Adriatic, to 4-5, in the open during the night possibly to
5-6. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with a little snow in places,
mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, and in the
Velebit Channel. Very cold. In the open of the South and of a part of
the Central Adriatic cloudy with rain.

the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic of rain. Strong and
gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to storm force NE wind. Sea
moderate and rough, in the open possibly up to very rough.

Der Hochdruckkeil dehnt sich aus Nordosten zur Adria und das Tief ? Ionischem Meer wird tiefer.

Il promontorio anticiclonico si estende dal nordoriente verso
l?Adriatico, mentre il ciclone sopra il Mare Ionio si approfondì.

Il vento di Bora 12-28, in rinforzo sull?Adriatico settentrionale, nel
pomeriggio anche altrove, a 18-38, nel Canale di Velebit fino a 50
nodi. Il mare 3-4, in intensificazione sull?Adriatico settentrionale,
fino alla fine della giornata anche altrove, a 4-5, al largo durante la
notte anche a 5-6. La visibilità 10-20 km. Prevalentemente
nuvoloso e molto freddo con qualche neve localmente, prevalentemente
sull?Adriatico meridionale e su parte dell?Adriatico centrale, e nel
Canale di Velebit. Al largo dell?Adriatico meridionale e della parte
dell?Adriatico centrale nuvoloso con piogge.
LA PREVISIONE DEL TEMPO PER LE PROSSIME 12 ORE
Prevalentemente nuvoloso con il rischio di neve localmente, ed al largo
dell?Adriatico meridionale e della parte dell?Adriatico centrale con
piogge. Il vento da fresco a forza burrasca, nel Canale di Velebit fino
a forza tempesta. Il mare molto mosso e agitato, al largo anche molto
agitato.
